It’s no surprise that many candidates judge a company based on its culture and the core benefits they offer. After all, benefits like health insurance, retirement plans, and parental leave are major factors for job seekers when choosing something as important as a job or company. In 2016, Glassdoor research revealed that the benefit that drives the most employee satisfaction was the quality of employer-provided health insurance plans. The second and third benefits with the biggest impacts on worker satisfaction were 401k retirement plans and vacation/paid time off.
Given the ongoing debate around healthcare in America and the trend of companies offering increasingly enticing benefits, we thought to help you wade through the noise. Here are 17 companies with great benefits who are hiring like crazy!
1. IKEA
Company Rating: 3.8
Benefits: IKEA offers Medical, Vision, Dental, and Prescription coverage to help keep employees and their families well. Better yet, although employees and IKEA share the premium costs, IKEA insists they pay the majority of the premium. Plus, IKEA offers up to four months of paid parental leave to both part-time and full-time employees with at least one year of experience at the company, regardless of whether they work at a retail store or the corporate headquarters.
2. Adidas Group
Company Rating: 3.9
Benefits: Employees at Adidas Group rave about, “Good health care benefits including infertility coverage and adoption aid. Benefits also cover naturopathic/alternative health care.” In addition, Adidas encourages employees to reach their personal fitness goals by providing an on-site gym with Crossfit classes.
3. Bain & Company
Company Rating: 4.6
Benefits: The Boston-based management consulting firm and Best Places to Work 2017 winner provides employees with a lot of the basics you see in most benefit packages: health insurance, 401k and retirement plan, stock purchase plan, vacation and paid time off, maternity and paternity leave, flexible spending accounts and free lunches and snacks. 4. Goldman Sachs
Company Rating: 3.8
Benefits: Goldman Sachs’ provides 16 weeks fully paid maternity leave which includes four weeks of parenting leave at full pay if the employee is the primary caregiver (four weeks for a non-primary caregiver). They also provide fully paid adoption/surrogacy leave of up to 16 weeks. Plus, Goldman offers coverage for gender reassignment surgery, a benefit the company has offered since 2008.
5. Netflix
Company Rating: 3.4
Benefits: In addition to unlimited vacation and untracked work hours, Netflix offers unlimited maternity and paternity leave to employees for the first year after a child’s birth or adoption. Also, hourly employees in its DVD-by-mail division will get up to 12 weeks of paid leave; customer service 14 weeks; and hourly streaming-division employees 16 weeks.
6. Salesforce

Benefits: Employees are encouraged to,  “donate to an eligible nonprofit organization and Salesforce.org will match your gift (minimum US$50 donation required). 7. World Wildlife Fund
Company Rating: 3.8
Benefits: WWF’s core benefits include up to $300,000 life insurance, up to $400,000 accidental death insurance, as well as both short-terms and long-term disability insurance.
