RailYatri introduces new travel information and advisory alerting platform


The National RailYatri Alert Service has initially been launched free to allow users to experience the service and there will be a nominal accessge post the launch period

RailYatri.in has launched National RailYatri Alert Service (NRAS), which is claimed to be the country's first travel information & advisory alerting platform.
NRAS, RailYatri.in, explains uses customised algorithm to determine the impact of different types of major travel related announcements (new special trains, cancellations, s, new stoppages, etc.), incidents (accidents, planned blockages, etc.) and events (historical, current, and upcoming) at a local station or train level.

More than 80% employees expect better pay hike in 2014

More than 80% employees expect better pay hike in 2014 A majority of employees in the country expect better salary hikes in 2014 compared to previous years, spurred by hopes of brighter economic prospects, a survey by HR services firm Randstad has found. With increased pay packets there is also possibility of attrition rates going up, the company said. As per the firm's 'Workmonitor' survey, 84 per cent of the employees are hopeful about the economic situation in 2014 while another 86 per cent are expecting a higher pay raise in comparison to previous years. The survey has found that majority of employees in India expect to receive a one-time financial reward/ bonus at the end of this year. This is higher than their global peers.
